Three villages, three sets of logistics

Removals in Manilva and Sabinillas

From the hilltop village to the port, via the promenade

The municipality of Manilva is split between three places that are nothing alike: Manilva village, up among the vineyards with narrow streets; San Luis de Sabinillas, the coastal and most populated part; and Puerto de la Duquesa, with its marina and a very high turnover of rentals.

Each has its own challenge. Up top, the slope and street width. In Sabinillas, the seafront promenade and parking in high season. In La Duquesa, tenant changeovers and community rules.

We cover all three from Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, a few kilometres along the coast, with our own storage units for whatever needs storing between lets.

And yes: we also do one-off small jobs, which are much in demand here.

Coverage
Where we work

The municipality's villages

San Luis de Sabinillas

The most populated area, with apartment blocks, street-level shops and a seafront promenade that dictates where you can stop.

Puerto de la Duquesa

Marina and residential complexes with lots of holiday lets. Constant arrivals and departures and communities with their own rules.

Manilva village

Hilltop village, narrow and steep streets. We work with a small vehicle and carry much of the way by hand.

Rural homes and vineyards

Isolated homes with their own track. We check access before committing to a date so we don't turn up and find we can't get in.

Coastal developments

Complexes between Sabinillas and La Duquesa, with townhouses and holiday apartments. Easy vehicle access in almost all of them.

Shops and hospitality

Moving and storing equipment for seasonal businesses that open and close, very common along this stretch of coast.

Lettings
Tenant turnover

The holiday-let cycle

Start of season

Clearing the owner's personal belongings out of the home before the first booking and leaving it ready for the guest.

In-between storage

A small storage unit where the owner's things live while the home is let. No minimum term: just the months of the season.

End of season

When the let ends, we put everything back in its place so you can use the home normally for the rest of the year.

Furniture changes

Removing old furniture and installing new pieces between seasons, when the apartment is empty and easier to work in.

Storage
Pay only for the months you use

A storage unit that doesn't tie you in

If you let seasonally, the last thing you need is a storage contract with a one-year minimum term. Our units are rented with no deposit and no minimum-term commitment, from one month upwards.

Sizes range from 1.5 m² to 25 m², so you can match the space to what you actually store and change size if your needs change from one season to the next.

A new facility with wooden flooring, ventilated metal doors, 24-hour CCTV linked to a monitored alarm centre, free trolleys and access with your own code every day of the year from 7am to 10pm.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions in Manilva and Sabinillas

Both. In this area we get asked for lots of one-off jobs: a sofa, a mattress, the furniture from one room or taking a few boxes to storage. You don't need a full move to give us a call.

Yes: we empty it before the season, keep everything in a storage unit and put it back at the end. With no minimum term, you only pay for the months the apartment is let. We explain it on our furniture storage page.

Yes, with the usual precautions for a hillside village: a vehicle suited to the width of the street and part of the way by hand. A photo of the street and the entrance is enough for us to tell you how we'd approach it and how long we estimate.

With reasonable access and a lift, it's usually done in a working day. Without a lift or with a long carry to the vehicle, the time goes up. It's the factor that changes the price most, which is why we always ask about the floor and access.

Yes, it's the same stretch of coast we cover every day. You can see our Casares Costa and Estepona pages, or the full list of areas.
