Removals in Torreguadiaro

A long, narrow village hugging the sea

Torreguadiaro's layout complicates any move: a long strip between the main road and the beach, short streets running down to the promenade, and a summer in which parking within two hundred metres of your door is a minor miracle.

We've been moving furniture here for years, so we make that work for us rather than against us: we choose the time, prepare the loading equipment and, if the lorry can't get close, we cover the distance with trolleys rather than leaving the move half done.

Many of our jobs are rental apartments with a high turnover: June move-ins, September move-outs and seasonal contracts that mean emptying and refilling every few months.

For that, a storage unit is almost essential, and ours is just minutes away, in Pueblo Nuevo.

Moving in Torreguadiaro: four obstacles

Summer

From June to September the village's population multiplies. A mid-morning move in August and the same move in October are worlds apart in time and effort.

Parking the lorry

The streets leading down to the promenade are short, with cars parked on both sides. We choose the loading point and time so we don't block anyone's way.

Buildings with no lift

Many buildings are low-rise with no lift. We plan the team size around the number of floors: it's the factor that most pushes the price up or down.

Tenant changeovers

Same-day move-outs and move-ins are common with holiday lets. We coordinate both so nobody is left with furniture on the pavement.

What we do
What we move around here

Removals and small moves on the coast

Whole apartments

One- to three-bedroom homes, furnished or unfurnished. The village's typical move, usually done in a day.

Terrace furniture

Awnings, sun loungers, outdoor tables and parasols that aren't needed in winter and get in the way in the living room. We move them and store them until next season.

Emptying between lets

Taking out the owner's furniture before a seasonal let and bringing it back afterwards. A classic with holiday homes in the area.

One-off small moves

A new mattress, an appliance or the clutter in the garage. Short jobs that aren't worth calling in a company from further afield.

Shops and beach bars

Off-season catering equipment, terrace furniture and fittings that need to be removed and stored until the next opening.

Packing fragile items

Damp and salt are unforgiving. We protect what will spend months in storage with the right materials, not just what travels in the lorry.

Seasonal
The storage unit that does it all

Storage between one season and the next

If you let your apartment in summer, every June you face the same problem: where to put your things while the home is occupied, and where to put the tenant's things when they leave.

A small storage unit solves the whole cycle. We have units from 1.5 m² (enough for boxes, suitcases and personal belongings) up to 25 m² for the entire contents of a home, with no deposit and no minimum term: you rent it for the months you need and cancel it afterwards.

With your own code access 365 days a year from 7am to 10pm, you can pick up the parasol on a Saturday morning without depending on anyone being in the office.

Questions about moving here

Yes, although it's the trickiest month because of traffic and parking. If you have some leeway, a date outside high season usually works out cheaper and quicker. If not, we'll organise it anyway by choosing the quietest time slot.

It's normal on several streets in Torreguadiaro and we plan for it. We find the nearest possible loading point and cover the rest of the way with trolleys. Do tell us when you ask for a quote, though, as it affects the working time.

Yes, it's one of the most requested services in the area: we take out your furniture and personal belongings before the tenant arrives, keep them in a storage unit and bring them back when the season ends. We explain it on our furniture storage page.

No problem. Sun loungers, tables, parasols and awnings last much better under cover than out in the open, and it frees up the terrace during the months it isn't used. Our units have doors with ventilation grilles for exactly that reason.

Yes, it's our home patch. Torreguadiaro, Sotogrande, Pueblo Nuevo, and Guadiaro and San Enrique are all a few minutes from our facility.
