Removals in Sotogrande

We're right next door, and you'll see it in the quote

Moving in Sotogrande is not like moving anywhere else. The developments have controlled access, many houses sit at the end of internal roads with low-hanging trees, and much of the furniture is large and valuable. Improvising here gets expensive.

We work from Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, at Pasaje San Lucas, 3: literally round the corner. That means the lorry doesn't arrive after a long drive from Málaga, we don't charge you two hours of travel, and we can pop round to see the house before giving you a price.

Whether it's a penthouse in La Marina, a villa in Sotogrande Alto or an office move, we plan it with the time and resources it needs, and put it in writing before we start.

And if the new house isn't ready yet, your furniture doesn't have to wait in a lorry: we keep it in our storage units, five minutes away.

What you can't improvise here

Moving in Sotogrande: 4 details that change everything

Access and gatehouses

Many developments require advance notice of the vehicle and timing. We sort this out with you before the day so nobody is left waiting at the barrier.

Large furniture

Three-seater sofas, solid tables, sideboards and wall-hung artwork. Each piece is protected individually and we plan how each item comes out, rather than hauling it and hoping for the best.

High season

In summer the estate fills up and the working windows narrow. Out of season there is far more flexibility on dates and times.

Community time restrictions

Some communities restrict loading and unloading hours. We size the team to the permitted slot so the move isn't left half done.

Areas of Sotogrande where we work

La Marina and the Port

Apartments and penthouses reached via quays and narrow streets, where the lorry can't always stop at the door. We solve it with trolleys and good planning.

La Reserva

Large homes with gardens and several floors. Usually high-volume moves that are best planned with time to spare.

Sotogrande Alto

Detached villas on large plots, reached by internal roads. We check vehicle manoeuvring beforehand to avoid surprises.

Sotogrande Costa

The classic area by the river and the beach, with one- and two-storey villas and plenty of outdoor furniture that also needs moving and protecting.

Schools and golf area

Moves tied to the school year and the golf seasons, with move-ins heavily concentrated in September and move-outs in June.

Pueblo Nuevo and Guadiaro

The service villages for the estate, where many of the people who work in Sotogrande live. This is where you'll find us, at street level.

Storage
Five minutes from the estate

A storage unit close to home

Many Sotogrande homes are only used a few months a year. The rest of the time, seasonal furniture, beach toys, bikes or golf gear take up space that is needed for something else.

Our storage units are in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro, a few minutes from anywhere on the estate, in sizes from 1.5 to 25 m². You can rent them with no deposit and no minimum term, come and go with your own code 365 days a year between 7am and 10pm, and use them only for the season you need.

They're also the answer during a renovation: we take things out, store them and bring them back when the work is finished.

Frequently asked questions in Sotogrande

What people ask us most here

Yes, it's standard in this area. Tell us in advance which development it is and what it requires (advance notice, vehicle registration, permitted time slot) so we can sort it out before moving day and not lose time at the gate.

It's a common situation in Sotogrande. We coordinate with whoever has the keys (property manager, concierge, agency or someone you trust) and keep you updated throughout. It's worth putting in writing what is moving and what is staying.

Yes. It's one of the most common uses of our storage units: keeping garden furniture, belongings or the entire contents of a home during the months the house isn't in use. You can read more on our furniture storage page.

It depends on the volume, the number of floors and whether furniture needs dismantling. A large home is rarely moved well in a rush, which is why we prefer to see the house, or have you send photos on WhatsApp, before committing to a date and a price.

We do that too. A one-off job, taking a few things to storage or collecting a bulky purchase is all part of our daily work. Call us on +34 659 599 911 and we'll sort it out.
